BURLINGTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Several schools on Colorado's eastern plains decided to close on Friday because of icy conditions on the roads, high winds and blowing snow.
Burlington RE6J Superintendent Don Anderson told CBS4 there were also power outages for many areas within the district.
Hi-Plains School District R-23 was also closed.
Fleming, Haxtun, Sedgwick and Holyoke are under a 2 hour delay and Lone Star School in Otis is delayed 90 minutes.
