Investigator: Suspect Photographed Sexual Assault

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) – A Denver-area man charged with sexual assault and other crimes is accused of taking more than 100 photos while assaulting a woman.

A Jefferson County judge ruled Monday that there’s enough evidence to pursue the case against 32-year-old Marc O’Leary. O’Leary faces 28 charges in the alleged sexual assault of a Westminster woman last summer. He’s being held on $5 million bond.

A detective testified that O’Leary assaulted the woman for more than two hours in her apartment. Authorities say a search of his home turned up a camera memory card with photos he took of the assault using a camera on a timer.

The Lakewood man is suspected of similar assaults in the Denver area and in Washington state. O’Leary’s arraignment is scheduled May 16.
