Brazen Robbers Hit Westminster Bank
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Two brazen robbers pushed their way into a Westminster bank and get away with the cash.
Police released surveillance pictures of the two robbers, who were armed. They barged into the US Bank near 72nd and Lowell Friday morning. The robbers ordered everyone on the ground and pushed two tellers down.
"They forced everyone to the ground. They actually jumped the counter and opened the doors themselves and forcibly took the money," Trevor Materasso with Westminster police said.
No one was seriously hurt and it's not clear how much money was stolen.
A car was seen speeding away from the scene after the robbery.
