Car Strikes Man In Wheelchair Overnight
DENVER (CBS4) - A car hit a wheelchair late Thursday night on a Denver street, sending one person to the hospital.
The person in the wheelchair was in the street and was not crossing in the intersection at Evans and Sheridan when the accident happened.
The driver of the car stopped and waited for police to arrive.
On Friday morning the man who was in that wheelchair is in the hospital with serious injuries.
Streets in the area were shut down for a couple of hours after the accident.
