'Gateway To Flight' Welcomes Visitors To Wings Over The Rockies
DENVER (CBS4)- The Wings Over The Rockies Museum in Lowry has a brand new way to welcome visitors. It's called "Gateway To Flight."
The three-story tower honors Colorado's Charlie Gates. He was an influential businessman and aviation pioneer. The tower was paid for by a $1.6 million grant from the Gates Frontier Fund.
To celebrate, the museum has free admission Thursday, April 7 starting at 4 p.m. Visitors can explore the B-52s and other aviation equipment.
