Avalanche Kills Skier At Aspen Highlands
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) - An avalanche killed one person at an Aspen ski resort on Monday.
It happened in the afternoon in an area known as Maroon Bowl on the backside of Aspen Highlands ski area.
Investigators say five people were in the area when the slide happened.
The other four people located the victim and tried to perform CPR but the victim did not survive.
