DENVER (CBS4) – Authorities in Denver are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person whose body was found in a park on Friday.
A group of teenagers made the grisly discovery on the 1700 block of West Atlantic Place, near Ruby Hill Park. The body was stuffed into a suitcase that was covered with mud and placed in a kiddie pool in the middle of a field.
An autopsy shows the victim is a white or Hispanic male. Denver police released the following details about him:
- Between approximately 15 and 30 years of age
- Slight build
- Brown hair
- Dark, probably brown eyes
- Sparse moustache and goatee
- Natural teeth with no obvious fillings or crowns
- No scars or tattoos
- No obvious body piercings
So far the coroner has not stated how the victim died. They said anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner at (303) 436-7712 or the Denver Police Department (720) 913-6776.
