CBS4’s Brian Maass reports that two people were buried in the snow slide. One person apparently broke their leg. Both are being taken to Summit Medical Center in Frisco.

Summit County emergency crews were on the scene at 12:30 p.m. The people caught in the slide were initially unaccounted for after the avalanche. After they were located, they were taken by toboggan to Highway 6 where an ambulance was waiting.

The slide is apparently 100 feet wide. What triggered the slide is being investigated.
