DENVER (CBS4)- Baseball fans in Colorado are getting ready for the Rockies’ home opener on Friday. And it shows. Blake Street now sports a big purple stripe right down the middle.

The purple stripe about 18 inches wide was painted down Blake St. from 22nd to 19th in honor of Coors Field Opening Day. The Colorado Rockies logos will be added along the stripe.

The first pitch of the season at Coors Field is at 2:10 p.m. Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
