Dumb Friends League Offers Deal On Dogs & Cats

DENVER (CBS4) - The Dumb Friends League is trying to get more animals into homes by reducing the adoption fees for the next 6 weeks.

The organization has nearly 900 pets at its two shelters. One shelter is in Denver and the other in Castle Rock.

The organization is bracing for the typical influx of cats and kittens this summer, so the league has cut its fees to just $50 through the end of June to help the animals get homes.

The $50 fee covers spaying or neutering, micro-chipping, vaccinations and a free checkup from a participating veterinarian for any animal of any age.
