AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - An important piece of Colorado’s history has made a move.
Aurora’s Coal Creek Schoolhouse, a one-room prairie schoolhouse that dates back to the early 20th century, is now in a new location.
A flat-bed truck carried the building from its old spot at the Beck Recreation Center to its new home at Aurora’s Delaney Farm.
The building is Aurora’s only known single-room school house.
