Police Officers Trade In Badges For Aprons

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – Police officers across the state traded in their badges for aprons on Saturday. It was all part of the Tip-A-Cop event at Red Robin restaurants.

Each year Red Robin teams up with police departments to help raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics.

At the Centennial restaurant, officers greeted customers, served drinks and collected tips for the Special Olympians.

Red Robin has been supporting the Special Olympics since 2005.

Good for you Red Robin! Good for you police men and women! Great thing to do. I commend all of you. Thank you for giving your free time to this cause. I will eat at Red Robin now when I go to restaurants.
