Condoleezza Rice To Speak At CSU In April

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is set to visit Fort Collins next month.

Rice is scheduled to speak at Colorado State University April 19 as part of its Monfort Lecture Series. She will address her thoughts on current global events, foreign policy and education.

She also will speak about her experiences as secretary of state from 2005 to 2009 under George W. Bush. A moderated question-and-answer session will follow.

The event is free and open to the public.

An Alabama native, she received her bachelor's and doctorate degrees from the University of Denver. Rice is now a professor of political science at Stanford University.
