DENVER (CBS4) – Work has begun on an interesting new project at the Denver Art Museum. It’s creating a sculpture using the same technique as building an adobe house.

Roxanne Swentzell is creating a 10-foot sculpture called “Mud Woman Rolls On” for the American Indian art galleries at the Denver Art Museum.

Swentzell says the woman is made out of mud and straw to represent Mother Earth. Mud Woman will be surrounded by children who will represent all the people of the world.
