Firefighters Continue To Try To Contain Boulder Blaze

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Two helicopters and an air tanker will be helping 150 firefighters as they try to finish containment on a wildfire in the foothills west of Boulder.

Firefighters say the fire was 60 percent contained as they started work Sunday on the remaining burn areas in steep terrain with no roads. Officials say the fire has burned 600 acres since it started Friday.

People in more than 200 homes were evacuated at one point but all have been allowed to return. Twelve homes and six other buildings were threatened, but none have been damaged.

Fire managers say the blaze was caused by people but they haven't said exactly how it started.
