DENVER (CBS4) - People in Colorado apparently feel like they have a lot to laugh and smile about. The state is ranked as one of the Top 10 happiest states.

A new survey ranked states based on emotional health, life evaluation and physical health.

Hawaii was ranked first, then Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska, and Colorado is fifth.

West Virginia came in dead last on the well-being survey, followed by Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama.
