Graham: 'I Will Always Be A Broncos Fan'

DENVER (CBS4)- Former Denver Broncos tight end Daniel Graham says he will always be a Broncos fan, even after the franchise cut him on Wednesday.

Graham was a team captain and is a Colorado guy through and through, from Thomas Jefferson High School to the University of Colorado and then eventually the Broncos in the NFL (Graham played for the New England Patriots for several years).

He was scheduled to make more than $5 million, so he wasn't surprised the team let him go. That didn't make it any easier to tell his daughter.

"She doesn't understand that this is a business. I told her last night that Daddy no longer plays for the Denver Broncos. She cried, she was sad. She was sad because she can't play with her friend anymore on Sunday at the football games," said Graham.

Graham said he expects to be playing with another team next season.
