Police Investigating Possible Link To Longmont-Boulder Robberies

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- Several robberies in Longmont and Boulder have police trying to figure out if they are connected.

Surveillance footage shows a robbery suspect at a Wells Fargo branch inside the Safeway store off South Pratt Parkway in Longmont shortly after 6 p.m.

The man handed over a note stating he was armed and demanded money. He took off in an older white Ford Explorer.

Police in Longmont are investigating if the man may have committed several other robberies in Boulder.

"At least one of the robberies, their suspect appears to match our suspect. So we are working with Boulder and the FBI to see if there is a connection," said Jeff Satur with the Longmont Police Department.

The robberies in Boulder that may be linked include a Wells Fargo branch on Monday at about 5:30 p.m. About five hours later, a Circle K convenience store was targeted, followed by a Boulder Valley Credit Union.
