Man Suspected In Multiple Bank Robberies

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - A bank robbery in Longmont Tuesday night may be connected to three other armed robberies this week.

Longmont police said that just after 6 p.m. Tuesday night a man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in the Safeway on Ken Pratt Boulevard.

The man handed over a note that said he was armed and demanded money. He got away in an older white Ford Explorer.

His description was similar to that from three other robberies in Boulder.

The first was at a Wells Fargo Bank on Monday at around 5:30 pm. About five hours later a Circle K convenience store was targeted.

On Tuesday morning a Boulder Valley Credit Union was hit.

Surveillance photos from Tuesday's robbery in Longmont have been released.
