Forbes: Denver Now Nation's 9th Most Miserable Sports City

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - Forbes has named Denver the nation's ninth most miserable sports city, based on the performance of its Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rockies, the Denver Business Journal reports.

"[There's] a lot of bridesmaid history in the Mile High City — the Broncos lost six times in the AFC title game or Super Bowl, the Rockies lost their only World Series appearance, and Nuggets teams featuring the likes of David Thompson, Dan Issel, Alex English, Dikembe Mutombo and Carmelo Anthony made the playoffs 30 times in 43 years with no rings," Forbes says.
