17-Year-Old Accused Of Sex Assault At Kennedy High
DENVER (CBS4) - A 17-year-old is in custody and under investigation for the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
Police say the girl was led to an area of John F. Kennedy High School where she was sexually assaulted. She told police it happened on Friday. The 17-year-old was arrested later that day. He's being held in the Gilliam Youth Center.
The district attorney has not decided whether to file charges.
Denver Public Schools plans on sending letters home to students about the alleged attack on Wednesday.
