2 Killed In Crash Near Golden
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Two people are dead after a crash near the intersections of Highway 93 and Highway 72 near Golden Saturday afternoon.
Sgt. John Hahn with the Colorado State Patrol said two other people involved in the crash that happened around 2:35 p.m. were sent to a local hospital.
"Troopers are in the very early stages of the investigation and exact details as to the cause of the crash are not yet known, Hahn said in a statement.
Highway 93 was closed for several hours for the investigation. It reopened just before 5 p.m.
