BOULDER, Colo. (AP) – For the first time in its history, the University of Colorado has more graduates serving in the Peace Corps than any other large school.
The Peace Corps announced Colorado’s top ranking among schools with 15,000 or more undergraduates on Tuesday.
Colorado’s flagship Boulder campus has 117 graduates currently serving in the Peace Corps. The University of Florida is second with 97 graduates.
The University of Washington, the top school for four straight years, is in a three-way tie for third place with 94 volunteers.
