Adoptable Pets On Special At Dumb Friends League

DENVER (CBS4)- If you're thinking about making a furry addition to your family, this may be the weekend to do it. The Dumb Friends League is offering an adoption special on Saturday, Jan. 29.

"We're offering an adoption special for cats and dogs because we've seen more of them coming through our doors this time of year than typical. So what we're doing is $75 off the adoption fee for any cat or dog that's four months or older," said Michell Ray with the Dumb Friends League.

Hundreds of cats and dogs are available on Saturday at a reduced rate. The animals have been evaluated by a veterinarian and come with a detailed description of their personalities.

They're vaccinated, and the adoption fee includes spay and neuter surgery along with a microchip implant.

The adoption special is available on Saturday only at both Dumb Friends League locations, 2080 Quebec in Denver and the Buddy Center at 4556 Castleton Court in Castle Rock.
