Woman Shot To Death In West Denver ID'd
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police say a woman was shot to death at 936 Sheridan Boulevard Tuesday night.
Police arrived on scene after neighbors called to report the shooting. They found Susan Wiggs, 58, dead just before 8:30 p.m.
An extensive crime sceen was set up from 9th and Zenobia to 9th and Sheridan.
Police said that a fight inside the home might have lead to the shooting.
"What our early investigation has told us is that there may have been an altercation inside involving two groups of individuals. At some point a gun or guns were produced, shots were fired and our female victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound," Detective John White with the Denver Police Department said.
Police have not caught the shooter and do not have a description of that person.
Lakewood police were assisting in the investigation.
