GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – The woman who manages the cafeteria at Jefferson High School in Edgewater was in court Monday facing marijuana charges.

Michelle Whitmire, 51, was charged with possessing and distributing marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Whitmire was arrested at her home in Golden last Thursday.

The arrest affidavit says Whitmire gave marijuana to her teenage daughter and her friends along with other children from elementary age to high school.

    You’ve got to be kidding me. Well, as usual, if you do illegal things you get caught and go to jail. What the heck was she thinking? Lets hope she did this within the school, the laws are much harder to plea bargain.
