DIA Shuttle Parking Rates Could Increase
DENVER (CBS4) - It could cost you more to use off-airport parking lots at Denver International Airport. The airport is now charging private lot operators more to bring their shuttle vans to the terminal.
One company tells the Denver Post he expects his fees will jump from $200,000 per year to $1 million. Operators say they will have to eat the extra cost, raise parking fees or layoff workers.
Airport officials say the old fees weren't enough to cover the cost of allowing private shuttles access to the terminal.
