Hickenlooper Celebrates Inauguration With Flair

DENVER (CBS4) - Gov. John Hickenlooper celebrated his inauguration with flair on Tuesday.

At the Fillmore Auditorium he partied with supporters and former Colorado governors Dick Lamm, Roy Romer, Bill Owens and Bill Ritter.

About 3,000 people paid $100 to attend the inaugural barbecue, complete with roasted pig.

After the barbecue the group was off to the Ogden Theatre for more celebration. They enjoyed music from Colorado's own OneRepublic.

Hickenlooper did not head home after the fun to the governor's mansion. He said he will use the residence on occasion, but the family will continue to live in their home in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood.
