Young Couple Killed In Plane Crash Remembered
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A young couple killed in a small plane crash just days before Christmas was remembered on Saturday.
Friends honored the lives of Anthonyand Nicole Riggan at the Air Force Academy. That's where Anthony learned to fly. He and his wife will be buried in the cemetery on the academy grounds.
"Anthony was a man of ceremony, he loved the military, he loved his country, I think he would be honored, but I think he would be humbled, that all this happened for him," a friend said.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash near the Colorado Springs Airport. There was heavy fog in the area at the time.
