Reality Star Helps Stranded Snowboarder

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)- A snowboarder from Chicago is safe after getting lost in the Colorado backcountry. Thomas Pazerunas went the wrong way off a lift in Vail's Blue Sky Basin.

Pazerunas ended up eight miles away after he went out of bounds. He trudged through chest-deep snow for nearly two hours before stumbling onto some snowmobile tracks.

Avid snowmobiler and "The Bachelor" star Jesse Csincsak came to his rescue.

"He was super dehydrated, he was trudging through chest-deep snow until he saw the snowmobile track, that's why he was so excited to see us," said Csincsak.

Csincsak said he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

"Anybody who was out there would have done the same thing I did," said Csincsak.

He gave the exhausted Pazerunas a lift back to the Vail Pass Rest Area.

"Without this gentleman I would be in serious trouble," said Pazerunas.

Csincsak said he invited his new friend to come back to Colorado for a real snowboarding trip in the backcountry.
