Walking Dogs In 2 State Parks Will Cost You

DENVER (CBS4) - People who enjoy walking their dogs in Cherry Creek and Chatfield state parks will have to pay a fee to use the open space.

On Saturday both state parks began charging extra fees for free roaming dogs. The passes, in addition to the regular park entrance fees, cost either $2 a day or $20 a year.

State parks sold more than 100 annual passes on Saturday. One pass covers up to three dogs.
