In Boulder you can take part in the Polar Plunge 2011 at the Boulder Reservoir, a benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association. Click on the logo below for more details.

Skating is also recommended at the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park in downtown Denver next to the 16th Street Mall, where the following special event is taking place New Year’s Day:

World Music Night – Paa Kow’s By All Means Band
Head to the rink to hear Ghana Native Paa Kow, an international touring drumset player, composer, director, and teacher of music. He has shared the stage with African greats: Kojo Antwi, George Darko, Hugh Masekela, Vusi Mahlasela, Amakye Dede, as well as American Greats: Victor Wooten, Michael Kang and Chris Berry’s Panjea.
