Colorado Has Lowest Average Gas Price At $2.74

DENVER (AP) - Holiday travelers in Colorado and Wyoming are paying the lowest gas prices in the nation.

AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report says that drivers in Colorado are paying an average of $2.74 a gallon of regular gasoline, the lowest in the nation.

Drivers in Wyoming are paying the second-lowest average price at $2.79 for regular.

The national average is $2.98 and drivers in many other states are paying at least $3 a gallon. Analysts don't expect any relief soon because crude oil has hovered between $83 and $89 a barrel since Thanksgiving.
