What month is it? The calendar says December but temperatures for most of the month have been more like early October.

Tuesday’s afternoon high just kept climbing topping out at 70 degrees breaking a record. The record high was 69 degrees dating back to 1924.

While some changes are on the way– December has been extremely mild the average monthly temperature for Denver so far is 8 degrees above normal.

On December 3rd, DIA tied another record when it hit 69 degrees–the record dated back to 1885.
