Ritter Annouces NASA Agreement For Jobs

DENVER (CBS4) - Gov. Bill Ritter is hoping to land thousands of space jobs in Colorado.

At the Capitol on Monday he announced an agreement between NASA and the Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology. The governor says the partnership will help speed up manufacturing and commercialization of aerospace and "clean tech" products in Colorado.

The plan will also help build a technology park between Loveland and Boulder.

The goal of the public-private partnership is to create 10,000 new jobs in Colorado over the next five years.
