I know, I know…You’re busy! Tis the season to give toys to kids who would otherwise go without. However, remembering to pick up a toy is next to impossible when you’re trying to remember everything else you have to pick up for the holidays.

Well CBS4 to the rescue! Now, you can pick up a toy for a child serviced by the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver without having to pick up that toy yourself . You can make an online donation at the CBS4 website so that the toy can be bought with your donation. Go to www.cbs4denver.com and click on the link “Care 4 Colorado Toy Drive” on the left hand side of the page and follow the prompts.

Remember, sometimes all it takes to make a difference in the life of a child is to show them they matter too.

Hi Gloria,
You have a powerful and far reaching blog so could you ask your readers to be careful that their dogs and cats don’t have access to opened boxes and dishes of chocolate and snack type goodies. Chocolate especially can be harmful for animals. I have a hunch you like dogs and kitties like I do so I wanted to ask if you can do this for me for my xmas wish.

I really wish there had been more placed to drop off toys. I have a big bag that I wanted to drop off Tuesday, but none of the 3 King Soopers I went to had anyplace to drop them off. Now I have toys, children who would love them don’t, and I’m feeling bad because I couldn’t figure out where to take them.
