Firefighters in Denver worked to quickly extinguish a fire outside an apartment building at 11th & Grant Thursday evening.

Copter4 flew over the fire, which began just after 4:30 p.m.

The fire seemed to be burning outside the building at 1135 Grant St., in some bushes. The flames were reaching up towards the windows of some corner apartments.

One apartment was damaged on the inside.

Firefighters are investigating what started the fire.
