First Measurable Snowfall For Denver
It finally happened Denver recorded its first snowfall of the fall season at DIA November 15th with 1.5 inches. While it wasn't much it's still enough to say we've seen our first measurable snowfall of the 2010-2011 snow season.
Leading up to the quick blast of snow Monday morning Denver had only recorded a trace. This was one of the latest snowfalls Denver's seen in years--we were very close to the all time latest date which occurred November 21 in 1934.
Denver's average first autumn snow typically occurs on October 19th.
