DENVER (AP) – The Colorado Avalanche have swapped defensemen with Boston, sending Colby Cohen to the Bruins for Matt Hunwick.
Hunwick, 25, has a goal and two assists in 22 games for the Bruins this season. A seventh-round pick by Boston in 2004, Hunwick has played in 164 games and has 45 points.
Cohen suited up in three games for Colorado this season after making his NHL debut earlier in the month. He was taken by the Avalanche in the second round of the 2007 draft.
