CBS4 NEWS AT 10 P.M. WILL FOCUS ON LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DURING A SPECIAL 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS FEATURE AIRING THROUGH DECEMBER 25
Denver—CBS4 News at 10 p.m. will air a special report called the 12 Days of Christmas through December 25, featuring local non-profit organizations that have helped people in our community this year.
Each day a CBS4 anchor or reporter will profile an organization that they have established a connection with through their own experiences or through the reporting they have done this year. These special reports will air on CBS4 News at 10 p.m. beginning December 13, and will re-air the following day on CBS4 News at 5 p.m.
“Our anchors and reporters are excited to give back to the community in a truly meaningful way this holiday season,” Walt DeHaven, CBS4 General Manager, said. “Though CBS4 supports many worthy causes such as the toy drive we are currently conducting with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, this project takes our commitment, and the spirit that these holidays bring, to the next level.”
Viewers will see compelling stories through words and pictures from many of the CBS4 anchors and reporters they watch on TV including anchors Jim Benemann and Karen Leigh, Britt Moreno and Alan Gionet and reporters such as Suzanne McCarroll and Tom Mustin. CBS4 newscasters profiled community organizations they feel a genuine and passionate connection towards.
